Ameriabank CJSC invites all qualified companies to submit bids for external audit of the bank in accordance with the bank’s Instruction on Selection of Independent Audit Company (available at

Bids should be submitted to 2 Vazgen Sargsyan St., Yerevan, Armenia, every business day from April 15, 2019, until and including May 15, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Each bid should contain 2 packages and be submitted in a glued, sealed and signed envelope.

First package should contain technical proposal and second package should contain financial proposal. 

Financial proposals will be assessed based on price of audit services in Armenian drams, all applicable taxes and other costs included. Technical proposals will be assessed based on the following criteria: 

  • Recognition (reputation) of the auditor in the Republic of Armenia and globally
  • Previous experience 
  • Qualifications of audit team 
  • Methods of audit
  • Term of audit and provision of audit opinion 
  • Scope of audit

Along with proposals interested candidates should provide their charters, audit licenses and the most recent financial statements approved pursuant to applicable laws.

Audit should include:

  • Review of evidence supporting information and disclosures in the financial statements on the bank, on a test basis 
  • Assessment of accounting principles used in preparation of financial statements, significant estimates made by management, and overall presentation of financial statements 
  • Preparation of audit opinion and audit report (management letter) 

Bids should be submitted for each of the following periods separately: 

  • FY 2019 
  • FY 2019 and 2020 
  • FY 2019-2021

Scope of audit should cover the balance sheet of the bank, financial performance of reporting period, changes in equity, cash flow and notes to financial statements. 

Audit should be completed and opinion provided within 40 (forty) calendar days starting from the day of commencement of audit. 

Management letter should be provided within 15 (fifteen) calendar days starting from the day of provision of audit opinion.

Audit should be conducted pursuant to the audit standards defined under the Republic of Armenia laws and regulations and the International Standards on Auditing issued by the International Federation of Accountants.

Proposals will be evaluated by September 1, 2019. The Board of Directors of the bank evaluate the proposals, pre-approve the price of audit services and submit it to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders for final approval. The resolution of AGM on awarding the contract will become effective from the moment of adoption. The bank and the successful bidder will execute an audit contract within 1 month following adoption of the resolution.

The contract will be awarded to the company with the highest score.

To obtain the best price quote or essential terms the bank may conduct further rounds of tender.
