Changes in the terms of Ameriabank card service
Media Room

Dear Customer,

Please be advised that in order to make your service more convenient and efficient we have revised the terms of card service. The most significant change is segregation of cards into debit and credit cards, with respective different tariffs.

  •  Credit cards are cards with grace period.*
  •  Debit cards are cards with credit line without grace period (including overdraft cards).

Due to the amendments, the cards have also been classified by their purpose. Debit cards can be used both for cash and non-cash operations, they have a low encashment rate both for Ameriabank ATMs and ATMs of other banks (including abroad).

Credit cards are intended for non-cash payments and can be used also for acquiring a credit line with grace period. You will be able to buy the goods you prefer today and pay for them within 51 days’ grace period.

In addition, a free-of-charge SMS notification service is available for all cards. You will receive notification on all transactions exceeding 10,000 Armenian drams or foreign currency equivalent.

The above changes will be effective from April 22. For cards issued before that date the new tariffs will be effective from June 1.

Attached you can find the debit and credit cards service tariffs incorporating all changes.

For more information please call us at (+374 10) 56 11 11 or visit any branch of the bank every workday from 9:30 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m. (only Shengavit, Sayat-Nova and Komitas branches).

Thank you for using our cards services. We highly appreciate our cooperation.

* In case of credit lines with grace period, the borrower pays no interests provided that he/she has fully repaid the utilized amounts before the 21st of the month following the month during which the funds were utilized (grace period).
