Ameriabank Increases its Charter Capital
Media Room

On November 12, Ameriabank registered with the Central Bank of Armenia amendments to its Charter and officially increased its charter capital by AMD 1.2 billion. In addition to 425,000 nominal shares, the bank issued another 30,000 nominal shares, at AMD 40,000 par value each. During the year of 2008, Ameriabank has now increased its charter capital three times. The charter capital now totals AMD 18.2 bln, the largest in the Armenian banking system.

Among the banks, the leverage ratio (the ratio of debt to total value of the company) is the lowest, which ensures minimum risk on transactions.
