Ameriabank’s loan portfolio demonstrates stable growth

Ameriabank’s loan portfolio grew by 37% in 2010 to reach 89 billion Armenian drams on December 31, 2010, where 93% of increase was due to corporate loans. These had grown by 43%. As of December 31, 2010, they accounted for 84% (74 billion drams) of total loan portfolio The share of classified assets in the total loan portfolio was 0.28%. This is solid evidence to the high quality of Ameriabank’s loan portfolio.

Although highlighting its corporate profile, Ameriabank’s activity spans also the retail segment represented mostly by corporate employees. For them the bank offers and continuously enhances a wide range of loans and flexible rates resulting in a 31% growth of its retail loan portfolio during the year 2010 (retail portfolio reached 15 billion drams).

Total assets of Ameriabank grew by 25% to reach 153 billion drams and net income grew by 56% to reach 2.9 billion drams by year-end 2010.
