Ameriabank comes up with New Year surprises for its employees

Ameriabank highlights a qualified personnel and teamwork as the surety of success and develops its HR policy based on that of its strategic partner Troika Dialog. The bank is committed to creating and sustaining a dream team rallied up around its goal, including, among other things, through special attention and care to the staff.
 
While under pressure of crisis many employers were driven to cut back their staff and salaries, Ameriabank paid annual bonuses even in defiance of volatile and complicated situation in the market. Bonuses were paid in April based on complex staff evaluation system, meaning that every single employee is evaluated per his or her input into overarching vision. Moreover, the bank persisted with recruiting qualified specialists throughout the year, bringing its staff to 226 from 175 at the beginning of the year. In addition, the bank increased the pays twice over the year by an average of 20% each time.
 
A number of employees attended training and development courses both in-house and abroad.
 
A system of incentives and care underlying its HR policy, by yearend the bank launched a specially-designed employee discount program for a range of leisure and retail outlets.
 
The greatest New Year surprise that Ameriabank staff enjoyed was health insurance which will be available starting January 1, 2010. Contract was awarded to tender winner Rosgosstrakh Armenia ICJSC.
Appropriate incentives system and application of advanced staffing tools render it possible to bring together mutually supporting staff always committed to perfection and the dream team.
